Hi guys! I have been downloading mods for San Andreas lately. 2 latest mods I have downloaded are the manual installation of HRT Enhanced Edition 1.3, and the Real Cars 2. Since I love both mods, I wanted them to be compiled in one game, but it cannot be. My first GTA SA which has Real Cars 2, is working WITHOUT the HRT mod, so as the HRT mod working without the RC2. I tried placing the contents of "into gta3.img (in the downloaded file)" in HRT mod to the gta3.img in Real Cars 2. Everything is fine, until I rebuild it. Using Alci's IMG Editor, it says at around 95% "Error writing entrydata" or something like that. Then, I tried Spark tool, and it showed an Unhandled Exception error. Then, in IMG Tool, it showed a message, still about the errors thing. I really wanted them to be in one game, other than in separate San Andreas(es). I also read somewhere that the game suddenly gets "crazy" if the gta3.img is around 2-3 GB. I hope you understood
Exactly. I found that only disadvantage myself, but it could save crashes of the game. I found a bug though, my modded sniper rifle (to Barrett M82) has a pure white texture, even the files are in a folder, in modloader. That's strange. Even my AK is white. Other than that, about the disk space consumption, my GTA San Andreas (Which has HRT and RC2) have more than 7 GB (LOL)! I will try adding Oblivion, and see the results
Working GTA3.img(GTA SA) | Slightly Modded game download
Version 2.0 of GTA: San Andreas was released due to the Hot Coffee mod, it removed the script for the Hot Coffee scenes, as well as adding code to the game's exe (executable binary file that contains the game's program code) that checked the file size of the gta3.img file at start up. If you had modded it and it was bigger or smaller than the size programmed into the exe, then the game would automatically crash. The solution is to create a new .img file and put the map files in it, then use the gta.dat file in the game's install directory to have the map access this new .img file to get the files required for the map to show up in game. However, removing the old files won't work, because that would change the file's size, thus still crashing the game. There are two ways around this.
CLEO requires an 'ASI Loader' installed to run which is provided with the release. The ASI Loader requires overwriting one original game file: vorbisFile.dll - be sure to make a backup of this file. No additional files are replaced, however the following files and folders are added:- cleo\ (CLEO script directory)- cleo\FileSystemOperations.cleo (file system plugin)- cleo\IniFiles.cleo (INI config plugin)- cleo\IntOperations.cleo (INT operations plugin)- cleo\cleo_saves\ (CLEO save directory)- cleo\cleo_text\ (CLEO text directory)- cleo.asi (core library)- bass.dll (audio engine library)- vorbisHooked.dll (Silent's ASI Loader)All plugins are optional, however they may be required by various CLEO scripts.CLEO 4 for San Andreas needs the BASS.dll v2.4 to be installed. This dll file can be downloaded from the official site of Un4seen Developments Ltd. Compatibility Mode CLEO is continually being improved and extended over time. In very rare circumstances, some scripts written for CLEO 3 may not work while using CLEO 4. However, since CLEO 4.3 you are able to enable a 'legacy mode' to increase compatibility with CLEO 3 scripts by naming them with the extension .cs3. CLEO 4.3 will load .cs and
Ok, this is what I did. I downloaded the Solid Snake Skin for GTA SA, then opened IMGTool. Then opened the gta3.img file then backed up the player.dff and replaced it with the one the download came with. Then I went to where my GTA is installed made a folder named skins, because there wans't one to start with, then put the bmp in the folder, started GTA then loaded my game and as soon as it finished loading it crashed. what do i do? did I do it wrong?
